- My name is Gail (Sandpail Gail in some circles) and, like most of you, I'm a lot of things to a lot of people -- but some of the most important people in my life think of me as grandma. I am recently and unexpectedly unemployed, and - with questionable timing - I just bought a house, but haven't yet sold the one I'm living in. My life is good, and I want to be sure that a good life is available for my grandchildren -- and yours -- when they grow up. I can't wait for the government to change, for corporations to step up to the plate although, of course, they need to do so. I can't save large resources by myself, but I can start to live a more simple life, hoping that one person's small changes will make a difference. And maybe trying to change my life into one I'm sure I won't regret having lived.

I'm glad that you got home safe and sound but I know how much you would rather be here than there. It was great meeting you. Hope to see you again when we get back up north.

Awe, I'm so sorry you had to go home to cold and snow. But, as the others have said, I'm so glad I got to finally meet you. I'm sure you will hurry back as soon as you can. Take care on those slick roads.
