I hear ya, It's even higher here in Alaska. Thinking abput getting out the 4 wheeler and riding trails to town!
That won't help me on my 100 mile trip to sell at the Farmer's Market though.

OMG!!! I need to quit whining!! We are still under $4, but I seem to use a lot of it running back and forth to the barn every day.

$4.49 here in Homer Alaska. :) I believe Anchorage is slightly lower, but I know that the bush towns are double that.

Come to Southwest Virginia it's only $3.69 yeepee. This is a very small town come here to practice law. I'm the court clerk and love to have you. Cost of living isn't too bad here. We are in the mountains only 15 minutes to Kingsport, Tn. or 3 hours from Roanoke, Va. Hope everything comes your way soon.

Thanks for the idea, Lynda. I've never been to southwest Virginia; I'm sure it's beautiful. Who knows where life will take me!

Whoa! And I thought $3.95 was bad.
