My Crafty Side Is Showing

Today I had meetings at work all morning.   I excused myself for a lunch break, but went instead to a Quilting mini-class.   A couple hours later I was back at work, with my first quilted piece, a 14" square.    Are you kidding me?!    I am turning into a crafting machine!    (yow, I just noticed how the colors turned out in this photo -- it is actually lime green, bright blue, and white.    I may be a crafting machine, but I am clearly NOT a photographer!)

What is that pattern called? I should know, but I don't. I'm not a quilter. I have bought and sold many quilts and there is a very nice quilting store next door to my antiques store. I get a lot of husbands killing time at my business while their wives shop next door. Quilting is not an inexpensive craft! homesteadhearth.com

Hey, that turned out really good!

I thought you'd be interested to know that I bought crochet hooks and yarn today. I just finished several rows of a single crochet stitch. Not perfect, but I did it. Thanks for giving me a shove!

I like the material. It's not traditional but more like an abstact painting.
